If the title didn't give it away, I ma a nanny. I could be your nanny, there's really no telling. Honestly, I'm probably not your nanny, you probably don't even have a nanny, but I thought it sounded cool. If I am not your nanny, and I already said it's likely I am not, then you're missing out because I am the most amazing nanny ever. I admit, I am no Mary Poppins, but who is? I mean, she had magical powers and shit. I'm just a normal girl trying to make a living.
When I first got hired as a nanny I thought, I will treat these kids exactly how I would treat my own. That motto hasn't changed, but what I've learned over the past few years is that I wouldn't treat my kids anything like I originally thought I would. I love the kids I nanny and babysit for very much. I always cry when I have to leave them, I never forget a birthday, name, or favorite color, but the truth is, you people baby your kids. I don't care who you are or how cool you are, you do it. I have never met a child who didn't cry to get his way, didn't throw fits in public, or ask for the same thing I said no to 10 times. Basically, I've never met a kid who wasn't annoying. I am on a mission to change that one child at a time.
